What are the email sending limits?

Sending limits depend on your BYOK email provider. Resend offers 3,000 emails/month free, SendGrid offers 100/day free, and Amazon SES charges $0.10 per 1,000 emails. There are no artificial limits from OpenAva — your provider is the only constraint.

How does the BYOK email model work?

You connect your own Resend, SendGrid, or Amazon SES account. OpenAva sends emails through your provider using your API key. You pay your provider directly at their rates — OpenAva charges zero markup on email delivery.

Does this replace Mailchimp?

For sales email sequences and customer-record-connected campaigns, yes. OpenAva handles multi-step sequences, list management, segmentation, and tracking — all connected to your contacts and lead scoring. For newsletter-only use cases with advanced template builders, a dedicated email marketing tool may still be useful.
